Peer support groups

WHAT SESSIONS MAY INCLUDE

  1. An introduction to group norms - confidentiality, respect, and voluntary sharing.
  2. Structured time for members to share experiences and what has helped them.
  3. A facilitator who keeps the space safe and makes sure no single person dominates.
  4. No pressure to speak - many people attend several sessions before sharing anything.
Session information

Sessions are usually confidential and led or co-led by a trained facilitator, not just an informal chat.
