PRACTICE

5-4-3-2-1 grounding

Name five things you see, four you feel, three you hear, two you smell, and one you taste.

Bare feet walking across lush green grass, grounded in the present moment

HOW TO PRACTICE

  1. Pause and take one slow breath.
  2. Name 5 things you can see around you.
  3. Name 4 things you can physically feel (your feet on the floor, fabric on your skin).
  4. Name 3 things you can hear.
  5. Name 2 things you can smell.
